1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using AEO Excellence ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of services
AEO Excellence provides Agentic Engine Optimization audits, implementation services, downloadable templates, and educational content. The exact features available depend on the plan you subscribe to (Free, Pro, Agency) or the one-time service you purchase. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Account registration
You must register for an account to access most paid features. You agree to provide accurate, current information; to keep it up to date; and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Payments and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees automatically each billing period until you cancel. All fees are exclusive of taxes, which are added at checkout where applicable. Failed payments may result in suspension of your account after a 7-day grace period.
5. Refund policy
One-time services (audits, implementation, training) are non-refundable once delivery has begun. Pro and Agency subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and a full refund of the most recent charge will be issued if requested within 7 days of that charge. After 7 days, no refund is issued for the current billing period, but you retain access until the end of the period. Annual subscriptions follow the same 7-day refund window from each annual renewal.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to access another user’s account, (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service, (d) resell or redistribute downloadable templates or audit reports outside the licensed scope of your plan, (e) attempt to overload, disable, or impair the Service, or (f) use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others.
7. Intellectual property
All content, software, and templates provided through the Service are the property of AEO Excellence or its licensors. Free templates may be used in your own commercial work without attribution. Pro templates may be used by your team for client work. Agency templates may be white-labeled for client deliverables, but the underlying intellectual property remains ours. Reselling templates as standalone products is prohibited.
8. User-submitted content
You retain ownership of any content you submit (domain names, audit notes, contact form messages). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it solely to deliver the Service to you. We do not use submitted content to train AI models without your separate written consent.
9. Service availability
We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available 24/7. Scheduled maintenance is typically performed outside business hours. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, force majeure, or events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific outcomes — including specific AI citation rates, search rankings, or revenue impact. AEO is a rapidly evolving discipline and results vary by site, content, and category competitiveness.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEO Excellence and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AEO Excellence from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends immediately and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AEO Excellence is registered. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will first be addressed in good faith between the parties; if unresolved, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in that jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
